First day post gastric band surgery: 240 lbs

My name is Donna. I am 24 years old and I live in Alabama, United States.


Yesterday, I had surgery to place a Realize® gastric band to help me lose weight. 


My weight is currently 240 pounds (109 kg). I am 5 feet 5 inches tall (165 cm) with a BMI of 40.


I will be tracking my progress here to encourage myself and hopefully inspire others on a similar path. Below: pictures!

    I didn't do the band, but I'm also trying to lose weight! Good luck, I know you'll do great!
